What is CBG and it’s Potential?

In addition to cannabidiol (CBD), another cannabinoid that is beginning to catch on in the industry is cannabigerol (CBG). This minor cannabinoid is rare—hence the term “minor.” Because CBG is a precursor to tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and CBD, it is usually converted to one of those cannabinoids in the cannabis plant. Although more research will need to be done to prove some of these theories, CBG has been shown to help with glaucoma, irritable bowel syndrome and cancer, and it also appears to have antibacterial properties.
